The Creepy Clown
This cute little clown just wants to be loved!
Winner of Nerdlesque’s “Most Awkward Boner” (2022) and Runner-Up at Apprentease VIC (2023), this act has toured Australia to rapturous applause and sexual confusion with its signature blend of horror, humour, and heart.
Pennywise the clown’s (from the movie IT) iconic makeup, a red-and-white clown dress, and a bouquet of floating red balloons set an unsettling tone, with a whimsical opening to the theme song from “UP” that keeps the audience deliciously perturbed.
But just as the tension peaks, the scene shifts into a classically choreographed burlesque number with cheeky comedic flair to Marilyn Monroe's “I wanna be loved by you”, as our clown picks an audience member to woo.
Then comes the final twist: a bait-and-switch strip to Rob Zombie’s “Living Dead Girl”, ending in a gloriously frustrated balloon pop that always brings the house down.

Mistress of Evil
The glamour of Rita Hayworth’s silver-screen presence collides with Princess Yzma’s camp villainy in this draglesque spectacle that delivers a wickedly good time. A tight lip sync to Eartha Kitt’s iconic “I Wanna Be Evil” - remixed into the punchy 7” modern version by Giant JR - is laced with infamous one-liners from some of cinema’s most delightfully evil characters.
Talon-like fingertips, choreographed to accent each lyric, set a deliciously dark tone from the opening beat. A towering pheasant-feather hat crowns the silhouette, while a black-and-hot-pink fishtail gown shimmers under the lights, evoking old Hollywood glamour with a wicked twist.
Unexpected reveals keep the audience on their toes and cheering throughout the second half of the act, culminating in a feathered showgirl belt with a surprising flip-up flourish that lands applause every time. This act is a decadent blend of draglesque mischief, vintage allure, and modern showmanship suitable for any-sized stage (that has a ceiling high enough!).

The Hot Potato
Once you pop, you can’t stop!
This delightfully chaotic mashup of potato love, googly eyes, and pure starch appeal is fun, fierce, and utterly unpredictable. Starting as a lip-syncing, draglesque baked potato, the act peels back layer by layer into an absurdly glorious ode to the humble tuber.
Featuring four different songs titled “Hot Potato” (who knew there were that many?), including DZ Deathrays’ Like a Version cover of the Wiggles classic, this act begins with a potato wrapped in tinfoil and transforms, right before your eyes, into a fully loaded potato. The evolution includes a Josephine Baker–inspired Pringles-can skirt and googly-eye pasties for a totally unhinged reveal.
A can of Pringles set onstage provides the finishing touch: “cheese and chives” streamer pieces that waft across the stage to complete this culinary spectacle.
All rise, all killer, and so very filling, this short-but-mighty 3.3-minute act leaves audiences laughing, cheering, and deeply confused about their newfound attraction to potatoes.
True Lies Tribute
If that strip scene by Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies awakened something profound inside you back in the ‘90s - hold onto your seat and take a few deep breaths.
The costume is a painstaking recreation of JLC’s iconic look, complete with tear-away sleeves, a rip-away neckline, and a perfectly timed water pour that leaves her glistening. Snippets of dialogue from True Lies are woven into the soundtrack, grounding the act in cinematic nostalgia. Even the signature moments (yes, including the face plant) make a comeback, creating a hilarious and heartfelt tribute to one of pop culture’s sexiest scenes.
In a Stage Manager-friendly twist, the water pour (a single glass over the head that stays mainly in the hair and on the body) adds just enough splash to thrill the audience without soaking the stage.
This act adapts beautifully to any space, from intimate venues to festival stages. It’s been performed across every state and territory (except the NT), including at Shake It Burlesque during Adelaide Fringe. Silly, sexy, and nostalgic in all the right ways, it hits perfectly, even if you’ve never seen the film.
A cheeky PSA for anyone thinking it’s a good idea to go outside in the sun without ermm… protection.
This act is a classic bait and switch. It lulls the audience into the sense that they are about to see some very traditional/classic burlesque, turning the tone into a sexy, UV-painted time. Showing off a gorgeous rhinestoned swimsuit, floaty robe and vintage umbrella, this act goes from glamour into something NEO and very, very creamy.
NOTE: This act can only be booked by venues with appropriate UV wash lighting. Don’t worry; no UV paint goes anywhere but ALL OVER my body because sunscreen safety is sexy.

Past Burlesque Acts
This act is only retired due to the fragile nature of the bone headdress :(
A gorgeously powerful Viking-inspired act with an extravagant costume and fierce attitude to boot. Taking inspiration from old Viking war songs and Norse gods, Pomme De Terror commanded the room to pay attention before invoking the knights of Vahalla to battle through a Led Zepplin classic.
