ABOUT POMME DE TERROR (she/her)

Naarm/Melbourne-based neo-burlesque performer, MC and cabaret entertainer Pomme De Terror serves a mashup of bold flavour, cheesy looks and side-splitting routines.

A talented character performer who challenges you to ask yourself, “Should I be into this?” coupled with “WTF did I just watch?” Pomme is the mashtress of transformation; with no two looks being served from the same dish, she exudes confidence, fierce femininity and powerful exuberance with every appearance.

HISTORY:

Pomme has an extensive background in musical theatre, circus and contemporary dance (which she hated). She has been part of the Melbourne burlesque scene for over a decade, with stage management as her introduction to the art. Pomme took the plunge into being a solo performer in 2021 and hasn’t looked back, though she still finds joy in participating in ensemble casts.

AWARDED:

• 2024: Nominated as a “Burlesque Rising Star of the Year” finalist in the Melbourne Excellence in Drag and Entertainment Awards.

• 2024: Finalist in the Altimate Showdown Grand Final Naarm.

• 2023: Awarded Runner-Up at The Apprentease Victoria.

• 2022: Received the “Most Awkward Boner” honourable mention at the Nerdlesque Championships.
